Omar Temple No. 21 (P.H.A.) Sickle Cell Walk
for a Cure Omar Temple No. 21 cosponsored the 2nd Annual Sickle Walk for a Cure that raised money for the Sickle Parent Advocacy Group of Savannah. The walk took place Saturday, September 20, 2003 at Forsyth Park in Savannah. The city wide event also consisted of gifts, prizes and free health screenings. Other sponsors included the 94.1 The Beat radio station, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and The Links of Savannah. Proceeds from the walk will benefit various holiday activities given by the Advocacy Group for children that have been diagnosed with Sickle Cell.
